💰 Rate/Salary: Up to £30 per hour

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Leader to join the Haringey Alcohol Service/Haringey Recovery Service on an initial 6-month temporary contract. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day operational management of the service, ensuring high standards of clinical practice and recovery-focused support are delivered in line with statutory requirements and organisational policies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Leading and managing the service delivery team
• Providing supervision, coaching, induction, and performance support to staff
• Supporting recruitment of team members and volunteers
• Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, equality, and quality assurance policies
• Managing service budgets and maintaining accurate reports and data records
• Developing positive relationships with commissioners and partner agencies
• Promoting recovery-focused practice and organisational values

Requirements:
• Professional qualification in Health & Social Care, Youth & Community Work, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies, DipSW, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
• Alternatively, significant experience within the substance misuse field with willingness to complete NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
• Previous experience managing alcohol, substance misuse, or recovery services
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Knowledge of safeguarding, clinical governance, and performance management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Understanding of current developments within the alcohol and recovery sector
