Supply Care Solutions are looking for children’s SOCIAL WORKER job in Merseyside.

RATE: from £37.22ph (umbrella negotiable)

HOURS: This is a Full time role (37 hours per week)

We are looking to recruit a qualified and registered social worker, it’s important that you enjoy working with service users from different backgrounds. You’ll have proven ability to conduct complex assessments in a local authority setting as well as working knowledge of ADCS guidance and case law – and have the confidence to contribute to legal challenges and give evidence in court.

You will complete the assessments and be the Looked After social worker for the child if required – also as part of this role you may complete 16/17 homeless assessments

– YPT 14+ Looked After Children
– Support as we would for any permanent member of staff, via training and supervision (including Signs Of Safety training)

– Engaging and proactive support from our legal services
– All Social Care including IRO and Fostering are based in one location

Qualified Social Worker Requirements

– CSW/CQSW/DipSW/BA/MA in Social Work
– Proven post qualifying experience in working with childrens services
– Current Social Worker England registration and enhanced DBS Disclosure
– Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
– Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
