About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gardener to work on behalf of a local authority based in East London. This is a full-time opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual with experience in grounds maintenance and gardening services.

The successful candidate will support the upkeep and maintenance of outdoor spaces, ensuring high standards are maintained across public areas and green spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out general gardening and grounds maintenance duties
• Maintain public outdoor spaces to a high standard
• Operate gardening tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Complete hedge trimming, grass cutting, weeding, and planting duties
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team

Requirements:
• Previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience
• Health & Safety Certificate
• Manual Handling Certificate
• Up-to-date CV with no unexplained gaps and specific employment dates
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK (Passport, Visa, Share Code, etc.)
• National Insurance Number
• Valid DBS Certificate
