💰 Rate/Salary: £21.00 per hour (Umbrella)

About the Role:
Are you an experienced property professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality housing? We’re recruiting for a dedicated Voids Officer to manage the full voids process from initial inspection through to sign-off. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring vacant council properties are swiftly and safely prepared for new tenants.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the entire Voids Procedure, from survey to sign-off
• Conduct property inspections and assess required repairs
• Ensure compliance with the Council’s Void Lettable Standard
• Identify and mitigate health and safety risks, including damp and mould
• Raise job orders and coordinate with contractors
• Manage procurement and inventory for refurbishment works
• Maintain property status using systems and trackers
• Sign off completed works to required standards
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols

Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS check
• Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
• Previous experience in housing/property management
• Project management experience
• Knowledge of local housing policies and regulations
• IOSH Managing Safely, SMSTS, or Level 3 qualification
