About the Role:
Are you an experienced Recovery Co-ordinator passionate about supporting individuals on their journey to recovery? We have an exciting temporary opportunity within the Newcastle Treatment and Recovery team.

You’ll deliver comprehensive 1:1 support to service users—from brief interventions to structured treatment—taking a holistic, “whole person” approach to maximise positive outcomes. You’ll work in partnership with service users to design care packages that address all aspects of their well-being while maintaining the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• 🧭 Partnership Working: Conduct assessments and deliver effective recovery interventions from initial engagement through to sustained recovery.
• 📋 Caseload Management: Manage an agreed caseload, reviewing care and treatment plans, liaising with partners, family, and significant others.
• 🔗 Facilitating Access: Connect service users to treatment, assets, and resources to boost recovery capital and support sustainable outcomes.
• 💬 Empowering Service Users: Inform service users of their options, encouraging active ownership of their recovery plans.
• 🤝 Collaborative Care: Work closely with other Recovery Co-ordinators to ensure seamless, tailored recovery interventions.
• 🏢 Front of House Support: Provide cover at the Single Point of Contact front desk, handling referrals and triages.

Requirements:
• ✅ Must have experience in drug and alcohol services.
• ✅ Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
• ✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• ✅ Organised, empathetic, and capable of managing a diverse caseload.
