Hourly Rate: Up to £46 per hour for the right candidate

Torbay Council is seeking a highly experienced Team Manager for our Children with Disabilities (CWD) team. We are looking for a professional who has proven expertise in CWD services and can lead a dedicated team to deliver the best possible outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of social workers and support staff, ensuring high-quality services to children with disabilities.
• Oversee the completion of statutory visits and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.
• Collaborate with other professionals to create holistic care plans for families.
• Participate in duty systems and provide flexible coverage, including office attendance when necessary.
• Conduct visits to families as part of the service delivery.

Essential Criteria:

• Extensive experience as a Team Manager within a Children with Disabilities (CWD) service.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding policies, statutory requirements, and best practices in CWD services.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration and support.
• Flexibility to attend the office as required for duty systems and face-to-face visits.

Additional Information:

• Remote Working: Candidates must have access to a reliable Wi-Fi connection and a suitable working environment at home. If Wi-Fi is unavailable, candidates will need to source their own data dongle to ensure internet access.
• Relocation Support: Torbay Council offers an accommodation allowance to assist with relocation or temporary stays in Torbay.
