About the Role:
Supply Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Speech and Language Therapist to join the team at Enfield Council. This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) offering a competitive rate of £29 per hour. The role is open to both newly qualified Speech and Language Therapists and experienced professionals looking to further develop their skills within a supportive multi-disciplinary environment.

The successful candidate will work as part of the Extended ECASS (Enfield Communication Advisory Support Service) multi-professional team, supporting children and young people across Additional Resource Provisions (ARPs), Units, and Mainstream Primary and Secondary Schools.

The ECASS team aims to improve outcomes for pupils with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) across Enfield schools by providing specialist advice, assessment, and practical support to education settings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver specialist advice, assessment, and practical support for pupils with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN)
• Provide training within ARPs/Units and schools, supporting class-wide and school-wide good practice frameworks
• Support schools in implementing communication tools and strategies that enhance pupils’ educational experiences
• Promote the message that “communication is everybody’s business” by supporting targeted intervention programmes and resources
• Assist with early identification of speech, language and communication needs
• Provide guidance and practical strategies for children and young people placed in Local Authority ARPs and Units
• Support schools in meeting the needs of pupils who are not progressing at the same rate as their peers
• Deliver supervision and continuous professional development (CPD) for school staff within ARPs and Units
• Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, carers, and other professionals to support children’s communication development

Requirements:
• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist (newly qualified or experienced)
• Experience supporting children and young people with speech, language and communication needs (desirable)
• Strong communication and collaborative working skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
• Commitment to supporting inclusive education and early intervention approaches
