About the Role:

Supply Care Solutions is proud to collaborate with our clients in Oxfordshire, who are seeking dedicated Social Workers and Senior Practitioners to join their Family Support & Safeguarding Service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of children, young people, and families, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
• Deliver high-quality social work in line with legislation, guidance, and the principles of Family Support & Safeguarding.
• Work with families using the FSS Workbook and a strengths-based approach.
• Prepare and present reports for child protection conferences, reviews, and legal proceedings.
• Liaise effectively with partner agencies and attend relevant meetings.
• Maintain up-to-date case records and ensure all statutory requirements are met.
• Keep the Assistant or Team Manager informed of significant developments and seek support as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years post-qualifying UK-based statutory social work experience, with ASYE completed.
• For Senior Practitioners, at least 3 years post-qualifying experience required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in long-term casework (CIN, Child Protection, Care Proceedings).
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (or plans to have one within 2 weeks of start date).
• Must reside within or be willing to relocate to within 1 hour of an office location.
• International Social Workers currently working in the UK may be offered sponsorship (subject to successful interview).
