About the Role:
Supply Care Solutions is recruiting an experienced Social Worker to join Suffolk County Council’s Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This fully office-based role involves analysing incoming referrals, gathering multi-agency information, completing initial assessments, and determining appropriate next steps in line with the Suffolk Thresholds Document.

Key Responsibilities:
• Screen, assess, and analyse referrals received within the MASH team
• Gather and evaluate information from education, health, police, and children’s services partners
• Apply the Suffolk Thresholds Document to determine required levels of intervention
• Identify safeguarding concerns and escalate or coordinate responses appropriately
• Provide clear recommendations including statutory assessments, early help, or signposting
• Maintain accurate and timely case records in accordance with local authority procedures
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure effective information sharing
• Contribute to decision-making meetings, professional discussions, and daily triage
• Manage workload efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Uphold statutory responsibilities and ensure child-centred practice

Requirements:
• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
• Experience in MASH, children’s safeguarding, duty, or initial response teams
• Strong analytical and assessment skills with sound, defensible decision-making
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Excellent written communication, organisational skills, and ability to work under pressure
• Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and thresholds
