Rate: £35 per hour (Umbrella)

Northamptonshire’s Children’s Trust is committed to providing high-quality services for children and families across the county, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive. We are currently seeking a dedicated Social Worker to work with children with disabilities, focusing on Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of need, ensuring the provision and review of care packages and short breaks for children with disabilities.
• Work within Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care frameworks.
• Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
• Maintain up-to-date case records and contribute to case reviews.
• Work closely with families to ensure the best outcomes for children, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in line with DfE (Department for Education) guidance.
• Proven experience in working with children with disabilities.
• Strong knowledge of child protection and safeguarding protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Must clearly state “Permanent” or “Locum” next to the role on your CV.
