💰 Rate: £35.00 per hour (Umbrella)
About the Role:
Northamptonshire Children’s Trust is seeking an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) team. This vital role supports children and young people through Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care processes. You will provide high-quality social work practice to improve outcomes for disabled children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments of children’s needs
• Develop and review care packages and short breaks
• Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records
• Deliver child-focused, strengths-based interventions
About You:
• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
• Proven experience in a Children with Disabilities team
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience (PQE) preferred
• Ability to manage a complex caseload confidently
• Excellent assessment, planning, and communication skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare
