About the Role:
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our client’s Regional Service Team in Cardiff, providing vital care and support to young people and families across the region.

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll be part of a skilled, passionate team delivering flexible and responsive support packages — including respite, intervention, outreach, and family support. You’ll work directly with young people and families at home, in the community, and at service centres, helping them achieve positive, lasting outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver structured, evidence-based interventions to build resilience and problem-solving skills
• Provide rapid response to families in crisis to prevent escalation or breakdown
• Support families to develop sustainable strategies for positive change

Requirements:
• Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification in teaching, nursing, or youth work)
• Experience supporting adolescents and families during times of need
• Supervisory or mentoring experience within a care or community setting
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
• Enhanced DBS required
• Commitment to safeguarding and the well-being of vulnerable individuals
