About the Role:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Norfolk for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their Family Help Teams on a temporary contract. These multi-disciplinary teams manage cases from assessment through to court work, working closely with Family Practitioners and a range of specialist intervention professionals. Shared case holding ensures the best outcomes for children and families.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Senior Social Worker to support the service in the lead-up to an imminent Ofsted inspection, as well as to assist with the progression and completion of Child in Need (CIN) cases.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage cases across assessment, CIN, and court work
• Provide senior-level support, guidance, and oversight within the team
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
• Support service readiness for Ofsted inspection
• Ensure high-quality practice and timely case progression

Requirements:
• Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration
• Significant experience at Senior Social Worker level
• Strong knowledge of CIN processes and statutory responsibilities
• Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills

Working Pattern:
• 37 hours per week (full-time)
• Hybrid working – on-patch visits approximately 3 days per week
• Additional visits as required for emergencies
