About the Role:
We are currently recruiting a Senior Practitioner to join the Family Help North Team in Luton. This role involves working within a multi-disciplinary team comprised of social workers, family help practitioners, psychologists, police community support officers, attendance support officers, speech and language therapists, DWP work coaches, CAMHS workers, adult mental health nurses, health visitors, youth workers, early years workers, domestic abuse workers, housing officers, and other voluntary sector partners.

The team has responsibility for early help and child-in-need functions. You will assess the needs of children and families, analyse information to support care plan development, and work closely with children, young people, their families, internal staff, and partner agencies to provide support and protection for children at risk or in need.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments, statutory visits, and parenting assessments
• Analyse information to inform care plans and interventions
• Plan and implement suitable multi-agency interventions and service provision
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across internal and external partner agencies to safeguard and support children and young people

Requirements:
• HCPC or Social Work England registered
• Experience in Children’s Social Care or Early Help services
• Knowledge of statutory frameworks and safeguarding legislation
• Strong multi-agency collaboration and communication skills
