About the Role:
We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Recovery Coordinator to join their dedicated substance misuse team in Lambeth. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals throughout all stages of their recovery from drug and alcohol misuse.
You’ll work closely within a multidisciplinary team to provide recovery-focused case management, assessments, and evidence-based interventions β€” empowering service users to achieve sustained recovery and improved wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
β€’ Manage a caseload and create person-centred recovery and treatment plans
β€’ Complete triage/screening and comprehensive assessments
β€’ Work collaboratively with partner agencies for joined-up support
β€’ Facilitate access to treatment pathways and community resources
β€’ Lead on case management including risk assessments & safeguarding plans
β€’ Support harm-reduction activities (BBV testing, needle exchange, structured interventions)
β€’ Deliver group and 1:1 psychosocial interventions
β€’ Promote family involvement and reduce the wider impact of substance misuse
β€’ Contribute to a culture of visible recovery and peer support
β€’ Participate in supervision, training, and continued professional development

Requirements:
β€’ NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) – or willingness to work towards it
β€’ Experience supporting individuals affected by drug and/or alcohol misuse
β€’ Strong communication skills and ability to maintain professional boundaries
β€’ Understanding of the complex needs linked to substance misuse
β€’ Knowledge of safeguarding and risk management
β€’ Ability to deliver evidence-based interventions (MI, PSIs, CBT, ITEP)
β€’ Confident managing a high caseload and using case management systems
β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Office
