💰 Rate/Salary: Up to £22.50 per hour (Umbrella)

About the Role:
We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Recovery Coordinator to join their dedicated substance misuse team in Lambeth. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals throughout all stages of their recovery from drug and alcohol misuse.
You’ll work closely within a multidisciplinary team to provide recovery-focused case management, assessments, and evidence-based interventions — empowering service users to achieve sustained recovery and improved wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a caseload and create person-centred recovery and treatment plans
• Complete triage/screening and comprehensive assessments
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies for joined-up support
• Facilitate access to treatment pathways and community resources
• Lead on case management including risk assessments & safeguarding plans
• Support harm-reduction activities (BBV testing, needle exchange, structured interventions)
• Deliver group and 1:1 psychosocial interventions
• Promote family involvement and reduce the wider impact of substance misuse
• Contribute to a culture of visible recovery and peer support
• Participate in supervision, training, and continued professional development

Requirements:
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) – or willingness to work towards it
• Experience supporting individuals affected by drug and/or alcohol misuse
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain professional boundaries
• Understanding of the complex needs linked to substance misuse
• Knowledge of safeguarding and risk management
• Ability to deliver evidence-based interventions (MI, PSIs, CBT, ITEP)
• Confident managing a high caseload and using case management systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
