About the Role:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Recovery Co-ordinator to join their Young Persons Services team in Leeds. This is a full-time, temporary role initially for approximately 3 months, with the potential for extension depending on service needs.
The postholder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver collaborative recovery planning and case management for young people misusing drugs and/or alcohol, supporting individuals from assessment and engagement through structured treatment to sustained recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a caseload of service users, developing, implementing, and reviewing individual recovery and treatment plans
• Conduct triage, screening, and comprehensive assessments
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver shared assessments, key working, and interventions
• Support access to treatment pathways and community resources to build recovery and social capital
• Lead effective case management, including risk assessments, risk management plans, and safeguarding assessments, using an online case management system
• Contribute to reviews, meetings, supervision, and multi-disciplinary communications through accurate reporting
• Improve outcomes for children, parents/carers, and families by reducing the impact of substance misuse and promoting positive family involvement in recovery
• Design and deliver high-quality psychosocial interventions, both group-based and one-to-one
• Identify and prevent potential harm by following organisational and local safeguarding procedures and liaising with safeguarding authorities

Requirements:
• Strong understanding of the complex needs associated with problematic drug and alcohol misuse, including physical, psychological, mental health, legal, parenting, and family support needs
• Ability to assess complex needs, identify risks, develop and review robust risk management and recovery plans
• Knowledge and experience of interventions including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Brief Interventions, PSIs, CBT, and ITEP
• Ability to manage a high caseload with accurate and timely case recording
• Comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures
• Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, with the ability to challenge discriminatory practice
• Knowledge of harm reduction approaches (desirable)
