💰 Rate/Salary: £18.36 per hour (Umbrella)

About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority for an experienced Personal Advisor to support young people transitioning from care to independence, in line with the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000 and the Children Act 1989. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of vulnerable young people.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver a comprehensive Personal Advisor service to children and families within a defined area.
• Design and implement tailored plans to meet young people’s needs in collaboration with relevant agencies.
• Act as a key worker, offering consistent and ongoing support to individuals and families.
• Maintain high professional standards, ensuring accurate casework recording and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Report any service provision issues or policy concerns to the Team Manager.

Requirements:
• Experience working with young people, particularly care leavers.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Children Act and Leaving Care Act.
• Strong case management and inter-agency working skills.
• A passion for supporting vulnerable young people on their journey to independence.
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
