About the Role

Supply Care Solutions is recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist (Manual Handling) to join Suffolk Council in Lowestoft. This role is ideal for candidates with local authority or NHS experience who are local to Lowestoft or able to commute daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely delivery of front-line occupational therapy services within the directorate
• Support triage and reduce duplication between health and social care to lower OT waiting lists
• Support external care providers with correct and safe moving and handling practices
• Complete reviews of care packages to ensure best value for Adult Social Care and optimal use of available equipment
• Review double-handed care packages
• Offer mutual aid to other OT areas as required
• Deliver timely OT assessments and reviews across the directorate

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must provide:
• An up-to-date CV (including both permanent and agency roles)
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK (UK Passport or Share Code with Passport)
• Proof of National Insurance (Payslip, P45/P60, or HMRC letter)
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (must be registered on the DBS Update Service)
• HCPC Registration Number
