About the Role:
We are recruiting for a skilled Occupational Therapist to join Manchester’s team as a Blue Badge Assessor. This hybrid role involves conducting assessments and observations to determine eligibility for Blue Badges under the ‘subject to further assessment’ criteria.

As part of your role, you’ll assess mobility in a clinic setting, provide walking equipment when necessary, and refer or signpost individuals to other services. You’ll also work closely with various agencies and stakeholders to deliver effective and joined-up support for service users.

Key Responsibilities:
• Carrying out mobility assessments in a clinic setting
• Triaging applications for Blue Badge eligibility
• Assessing for and providing walking aids where appropriate
• Signposting individuals to relevant support services
• Collaborating with other professionals and stakeholders to deliver coordinated care

Requirements:
• Up-to-date CV
• HCPC registration number
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK (e.g., passport or biometric visa card)
• Proof of National Insurance (e.g., payslip, P45/P60, HMRC letter)
• DBS Certificate
