Supply Care Solutions are looking for Mental Health Professionals such as RMN’s, RNLD’s, Social Worker or OT required – Must be Prison Cleared in the West Midlands.
RATE: from £34.00 per hour
TYPE: Locum
HOURS: Full Time (Mon-Fri)
The contracts may go on longer and all to start May 2023.
Candidates must have prison clearance but suitable applicants without clearance but with an enhanced DBS may be considered and clearance will be applied for. The rate is paid at £34.98 per hour which is a special rate of B7 for Prison nurses. If you have any suitable cv’s can you send them over for review, thank you.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Clinical
To be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced based interventions required including health promotion within a prison environment.
To provide a nursing service to prisoners taking account of cultural and spiritual beliefs/needs.
To be responsible for the appropriate risk assessment of service users, providing effective advice, guidance and decision making process.
Responsible for coordinating the care and assessment under the care coordination approach.
To ensure a high standard of nursing in the application of clinical nursing procedures and treatment including the custody storage and administration of drugs.
Responsible for participating in the setting of quality standards, including auditing, monitoring and reviewing of clinical practice in line with current clinical guidance practice and policy.
