Supply Care Solutions are looking for a Social Worker in North Wales.
SALARY: up to £34.00 ph
TYPE: LOCUM
TEAM: Disabilities 0-25 team.
HOURS: This is a Full time role (37 hours per week)
The suitable candidate will be expected to deliver a high quality social work service to children and young people who are deemed vulnerable or needing support due to :
An impairment that is either physical or mental and the impairment has a substantial long term effect on the individual’s ability to carry out day to day activities.
They will need to work with the citizen, carers and families to provide support and to develop resilience and independence, ensuring that the citizen, families and carers are at the centre of decision making about their lives and the outcomes that they want to achieve.
The assignment will be predominately home based, with occasional office days located in Ysgol yr Gogarth.
The assignment is an immediate start and is expected to last approximately 17 weeks. They will need to be registered with Social Care Wales.
Qualified Social Worker Requirements
– CSW/CQSW/DipSW/BA/MA in Social Work
– Proven post qualifying experience in working with childrens services
– Current Social Worker England registration
– Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure
– Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
– Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
