HOURS: Monday to Friday 08:45am – 5pm 36.25 hours per week (for approx 3-6 months)

The successful applicant will work as part of a skilled, friendly and supportive team, working with adults at risk, providing appropriate and proportionate safeguarding responses across the borough of Trafford in line with current legislation. Experience in working in adult social care and sound knowledge of the current legislative frameworks is essential. The successful applicants will be supported through regular professional and management supervision and will be afforded support to complete training to support development and maintain professional CPD.

About the Role
The Safeguarding Hub has been established to create a central point of referral for all adult safeguarding referrals into the Local Authority. It will be responsible for screening all safeguarding referrals as well as managing provider safeguarding’s and providing a response to organisational safeguarding. You will play an active role within a safeguarding team, ensuring proportionate safeguarding responses are provided to adults at risk in line with relevant legislation.
Qualified Social Worker Requirements
– CSW/CQSW/DipSW/BA/MA in Social Work
– Proven post qualifying experience in working with Adult services
– Current Social Worker England registration
– Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure
– Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
– Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
