Care Manager needed in South West England.

Rate: £20.35 ph
TYPE: Full time role (37 hours per week)
TEAM: Adult Socialcare

Assess the care needs of individuals and develop comprehensive care plans that promote independence and well-being.
Manage and monitor the delivery of care services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Work closely with service users, their families, and carers to ensure their needs and preferences are central to care planning and delivery.
Collaborate with social workers, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to provide integrated and person-centered care.
Supervise and support a team of care professionals, providing guidance and ensuring continuous professional development.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014, and adhere to the council’s policies and procedures.
Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are used efficiently to meet the needs of service users.
Respond to and resolve any concerns or issues related to care services in a timely and effective manner.
Lead on safeguarding issues, ensuring the protection and safety of all service users.
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance care services across the council.

Care Manager requirements

– Proven post qualifying experience
– Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure
