About the Role:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of Brentwood Borough Council for the position of Leasehold Officer, based at Brentwood Town Hall. This is a 6-month contract with a strong potential for extension. The role offers flexibility with a hybrid work pattern, requiring 2–3 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:
• Handle mortgage renewals and leaseholder welcome packs
• Conduct Section 20 consultations
• Apply knowledge of service charges and the Right to Buy (RTB) process
• Perform site visits across the borough (Driving essential)

Requirements:
• Experience working with leasehold and housing-related matters
• Understanding of RTB and leasehold legislation
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
• Right to Work in the UK
• Valid DBS certificate (with Update Service status preferred)
