Our client is seeking an exceptional leader to join as Interim Director of Public Health, driving forward health improvements and tackling health inequalities across our county. This is your chance to make a significant, positive difference to the lives of over 920,000 residents and visitors in Norfolk.

Type: Temporary, 6 months

Hours: Part Time, 2-3 days per week

Pay: Up to £700 per day

As Interim Director of Public Health, your priorities will be:

• Building an Asset Based Community Development Approach to deflect demand from our Adult Social Care front door.
• Delivering Prevention through a Cardiovascular Disease Population Health Management Programme.
• To integrate Public Health Commissioned Services such as stop smoking, weight management, and addiction treatment into an Integrated Neighbourhood Teams Approach.
• Supporting a single approach to Integrated Commissioning.

You must be a registered GMC, GDC, or UKPHR public health specialist with substantial experience in all areas of public health practice. You will also have a deep understanding of public health policy and best practices at both national and local levels.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Adult Social Services, you will hold a highly influential corporate role with direct access to the Chief Executive. This is a strategic leadership position that offers a platform to develop and implement transformative public health programs in Norfolk.
