Pay: £30ph Umbrella (Negotiable)

Are you (or someone you know) an experienced housing professional with a passion for quality assurance and legal compliance? This role is central to overseeing statutory housing reviews under the Housing Act 1996 (Parts 6 & 7) and supporting the continuous improvement of homelessness services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage statutory reviews (Section 202)
• Provide expert advice on complex housing legislation and legal cases
• Deliver service improvement via audits, QA, and coaching
• Manage accurate data returns (e.g. HCLIC)
• Identify service risks and drive strategic improvements
• Support and train frontline staff

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of housing law and guidance
• Proven experience with statutory reviews and audits
• Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
• Background in local authority housing services
