💼 Contract: Initially 3 months, rolling monthly extensions possible
💰 Rate/Salary: Up to £29.00 per hour

About the Role:
Supply Care Solutions is seeking a proactive and experienced Housing Options Team Leader to join a local authority in the North East. This role is an exciting opportunity to lead the Housing Advice & Information Team and ensure the council meets its statutory duties towards homeless households, with a strong emphasis on homelessness prevention.

Reporting to the Health Protection Healthcare Quality Service Manager, you will also play a key role in developing and maintaining partnerships with external organisations, supporting the authority’s wider objectives. The ideal candidate will be a motivated leader, capable of guiding a team to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the Housing Advice & Information Team
• Ensure compliance with statutory duties towards homeless households
• Drive and implement effective homelessness prevention strategies
• Build and maintain partnerships with external agencies and stakeholders
• Provide inspirational leadership to ensure delivery of an excellent service

Requirements:
• Proven experience in a leadership role within housing or homelessness services
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation and statutory duties
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team
• Commitment to customer service excellence
