Housing Options Officer

Location: Corby, Kettering or Wellingborough

Location: (Hybrid – 2 days on-site)

Pay Rate: £28–£30 per hour (umbrella)

Working Hours: 37 per week

Start Date: ASAP

Driving: Full UK licence & access to your own vehicle required

You’ll be on the front line helping reduce housing application backlogs, triaging new cases, and making informed decisions that guide vulnerable individuals toward stable housing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage and manage new homelessness applications
• Apply housing legislation to determine eligibility
• Advise applicants on available housing options
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve cases

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in housing options, homelessness prevention, or similar roles
• Strong understanding of Housing Act 1996, Part 7
• Excellent communication and case management skills
• Comfortable managing a high caseload in a fast-paced environment
