💰 Rate: Up to £19 per hour umbrella

About the Role
We’re recruiting on behalf of a key client for a Housing Management Officer to make a real difference in the Darlington community!
As a Housing Management Officer, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of housing tenancy management within a specific area. You’ll work closely with tenants, residents, and internal/external partners—including voluntary and statutory organisations—to foster inclusive and sustainable neighbourhoods.
This is a hands-on, site-based role with no option for homeworking. Building strong relationships and maintaining a visible presence in the community is essential.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of housing tenancy within a designated area.
• Work collaboratively with tenants, residents, colleagues, and partner organisations.
• Promote community development and sustainability.
• Maintain a strong on-site presence to build trust and engagement.
• Handle a varied workload effectively and professionally.

Requirements
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic approach.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact confidently with a wide range of people.
• Team player with collaborative mindset.
• Confident dealing with the public in diverse situations.
• DBS required for this position.
