💰 Rate/Salary: Up to £18.50 per hour (Umbrella)

About the Role:
Supply Care Solutions is delighted to offer an opportunity for a dedicated Homefinder Officer to join a supportive North East local authority. This is a crucial role where you’ll help source and secure suitable care and support arrangements for children and young people in the Local Authority’s care, ensuring they are placed in safe and stable environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Source, identify, and arrange placements across children’s homes, foster care, supported accommodation, and supported lodgings
• Work closely with colleagues, carers, and providers to ensure placement suitability and stability
• Support the local authority’s commitment to providing high-quality care and support for children and young people

Requirements:
• Previous experience in a relevant field (placements, fostering, or children’s services)
• Strong communication and IT skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team and with external stakeholders
• Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
