About the Role:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Home Care Support Worker to support service users living independently within an Extra Care scheme in Barnard Castle. This role focuses on enabling individuals to maintain their independence and wellbeing while receiving the support they need in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist service users with daily living tasks
• Support with medication administration where appropriate
• Help service users to use moving and handling equipment safely
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times
• Provide compassionate, reliable, and person-centred care

Requirements:
• Experience in care or a strong desire to support others in a home care environment
• Ability to travel to the service location
• Flexible and reliable, able to cover shifts starting from 7:00am
• Sensible footwear must be worn at all times
• Ability to work varied shifts, including night shifts if required
