💰 Rate/Salary: £20.46 per hour (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
Birmingham Children’s Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Support Worker to join the integrated Family Support and Safeguarding Service.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary professional team to provide a timely and effective response to the needs of children, young people, and their families. The role will be delivered in line with local policies, procedures, and priorities, with a strong focus on achieving positive outcomes and promoting the welfare and safety of children.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver a high standard of family support practice, responding promptly to the needs of children, young people, and families
• Manage an allocated caseload, acting as Lead Professional where appropriate
• Coordinate and deliver Early Help interventions within Family Support / Think Family frameworks
• Implement evidence-based interventions to promote sustainable change and safeguard children
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies within a multi-disciplinary setting to ensure effective safeguarding and support

Requirements:
• Proven experience working with children, young people, and families within a safeguarding or family support environment
• Strong understanding of Early Help, Think Family, and safeguarding frameworks
• Ability to work effectively within an integrated multi-agency team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
