About the Role:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of Enfield Council for a skilled and motivated Family Information and Advice Officer to join their Children’s MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub). This is a fast-paced, high-impact role within a well-established service dedicated to safeguarding children and supporting families.

Enfield MASH acts as the single point of contact for all referrals into Early Help and Children’s Social Care. Working alongside co-located multi-agency professionals, the team assesses risk, shares information, and makes timely, proportionate decisions to ensure children receive the right support at the right time.

⚠️ Please note: Applicants must have previous experience working within Children’s Services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct MASH enquiries in partnership with Social Workers and other professionals
• Ensure timely and proportionate responses in line with MASH thresholds and statutory timescales
• Provide clear and accurate feedback to referrers
• Share information appropriately in line with GDPR and Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023
• Offer advice and guidance on services and resources available to support children and families
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and contribute to management reporting
• Liaise effectively with internal teams and external partner agencies to deliver coordinated responses

Requirements:
• Previous experience working within Children’s Services (essential)
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in multi-agency working
• Knowledge of safeguarding thresholds, MASH processes, and information-sharing protocols
