About the Role:
Supply Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of Torbay Council Children’s Services for an Experienced Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality social work interventions and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver a high-quality and effective social work service in line with statutory requirements, policies, and standards.
• Mentor and coach peers, including newly qualified social workers, promoting evidence-informed practice.
• Manage a varied caseload of complex work, ensuring timely and cost-effective interventions.
• Support and promote the core priorities of the Torbay Safeguarding Children’s Board.

Requirements:
• Minimum three years post-qualifying experience (PQE) in direct employment with an English local authority.
• Must not have left a permanent social work role within the past six months in a children’s services department or within a local authority in the South West region.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model: part remote (with suitable Wi-Fi and workspace) and part office-based in Torbay.
• Social Work England registration.
