About the Role:
I am currently recruiting for an Employment Specialist on behalf of a client based in Southwark, London. This is a temporary 3-month contract with the potential for extension.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about supporting individuals into meaningful and sustained employment. You will work closely with candidates and local employers to create job opportunities, match individuals to suitable roles, and provide ongoing in-work support to ensure long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build strong relationships with local employers to create job opportunities
• Match candidates to suitable roles based on their skills, experience, and aspirations
• Support individuals into employment and provide ongoing in-work support
• Facilitate work placements, job trials, and work experience opportunities
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies and employment support services
• Maintain accurate records and track progress against outcomes

Requirements:
• Proven experience supporting individuals into employment and achieving targets
• Strong understanding of the local job market
• Excellent relationship-building and employer engagement skills
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• NVQ Level 3 in Advice & Guidance (or equivalent)
