About the Role:
We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an Employment Specialist—a rewarding role focused on supporting individuals into sustained employment while building strong employer relationships across the local area. Working within a fast-paced employability programme, you will develop employer partnerships, create job pathways, and empower clients to achieve meaningful and sustainable employment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Actively promote programme participants to employers and raise awareness of available services
• Champion the ethos of the programme and encourage employers to view candidates positively
• Create job opportunities through proactive employer engagement
• Facilitate work placements, work trials, and work experience opportunities
• Provide in-work support to ensure employment sustainability
• Work closely with Employment Coaches to identify job-ready clients
• Match clients to suitable vacancies based on skills, experience, and goals
• Liaise with employers and clients to resolve barriers to sustained employment
• Maintain strong knowledge of local labour market needs and employer skills requirements
• Work collaboratively with external partners and attend multi-agency meetings
• Maintain accurate case records and update management information systems
• Complete all monitoring and review processes required by project funders
• Adhere to all relevant policies, legislation, and guidelines
• Participate in training, supervision, and professional development
• Promote workplace values of honesty, commitment, and innovation

Requirements:
• Proven experience supporting clients into employment and achieving job-outcome targets
• Strong background in sales or recruitment with employer engagement experience
• Ability to build and maintain productive employer relationships
• Experience using management information systems and maintaining accurate records
• Strong understanding of the local labour market and employer needs
• Experience of multi-agency working to support employment progression

Desirable:
• Additional experience in employer engagement or employability-focused programmes
