Hours: 35 hours per week
Pay Rate: £25.50 per hour
Contract: Temporary / Ongoing

About the Role

Are you passionate about early intervention and multi-agency collaboration? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same? Lewisham Council is seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Help Coordinator to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team.

This vital role is at the heart of our Front Door for Families, ensuring that families receive the right support at the right time, through strong partnership working and coordinated action.

Main Purpose of the Job

As an Early Help Coordinator, you will: 

Develop and strengthen partnerships across agencies to improve outcomes for children and families.

Provide advice, support, and training to professionals across the partnership, ensuring consistent and effective use of early help tools and frameworks.

Support the development and review of Family Advice Records & Plans (FARPs), facilitate Team Around the Family (TAF) and Team Around the School (TAS) meetings.

Deliver bespoke training and guidance via the Lewisham Safeguarding Children Partnership (LSCP).

Mediate and negotiate with professionals and agencies to agree roles, responsibilities, and action plans. 

Monitor, track, and analyse plans and outcomes to continuously improve practice and service delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• A skilled communicator and relationship-builder with experience in multi-agency environments.
• Proven experience supporting early help or family intervention services.
• Strong analytical and coordination skills with a commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.
• Confidence in facilitating meetings, delivering training, and supporting frontline professionals.
