About the Role:
We’re recruiting on behalf of Middlesbrough Council for an experienced and highly skilled Children’s Advanced Practitioner. This is a full-time, 4-month contract with strong potential for extension. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality support and assessments for children and families, helping to secure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake comprehensive assessments for children and families
• Manage complex cases with autonomy and professional confidence
• Work collaboratively within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and statutory guidelines
• Promote best practices and maintain high professional standards

Requirements:
• Qualified Social Worker with current SWE registration
• Significant post-qualifying experience in children’s services
• Strong assessment and analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Available for a full-time locum contract (4 months, with view to extend)
