💰 Rate/Salary:
• Children’s Residential Support Worker – £13.16 PAYE / £16.00 Umbrella
• Emergency Team – £15.77 PAYE / £18.00 Umbrella
(Enhanced rates apply for evenings and weekends)

About the Role:
We’re excited to be collaborating with Swansea Council to recruit dedicated and compassionate Children’s Residential Support Workers to join their Children’s Services team. You will be working within either the general residential service or the emergency team, providing care and support to children and young people in residential settings.

Shift Information:
Shifts will include, but are not limited to:
• Long Days: 08:00–22:00 or 12:00–00:00
• Wakeful Nights: 22:00–08:00 or 19:00–07:00
• Sleep-In: 22:00–08:00

Requirements:
• Minimum 6 months’ experience in children’s residential settings
• QCF Level 2 or above in Health & Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent
• Registration with Social Care Wales for Children’s Residential Setting
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Restraint and de-escalation training via a Restrictive Practice Network approved provider (e.g. PMVA/MAPA)

Mandatory Training (compliance required):
• GDPR
• Health & Safety in Children’s Homes
• Safe Administration of Medication
• Fire Safety
• Safeguarding Children (Group A & B)
• Food Hygiene – Level 2
