💰 Rate/Salary: Up to £24.39/hr (Umbrella)

About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Brightwell Care Officer to join the team at Brightwell Respite Care Centre, supporting children with disabilities who access short breaks.

This role involves providing high-quality care, ensuring a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment, and working as part of a team committed to exceeding the expectations set out in legislation. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and their families by creating positive experiences and supporting their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Meet the care and recreation needs of children with disabilities during short breaks
• Ensure a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment at all times
• Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing care team
• Support children’s individual needs in line with care plans and safeguarding policies
• Promote positive experiences that enhance children’s well being and development
• Maintain high professional standards and comply with all legislative requirements

Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children with disabilities (desirable)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to care
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy care environment
• Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate
