💰 Rate/Salary: NHS capped rate up to £32.00 per hour

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting Band 7 ADHD Assessors (x6) to support a CAMHS ADHD Service on a short-term basis.
This role is ideal for an experienced ADHD clinician who can work autonomously within a community CAMHS setting, completing high-quality ADHD assessments for children and young people aged 7–18 years.

The post requires confidence in managing complexity and delivering timely, clinically robust assessments without the need for additional supervision or training.

Key Responsibilities:
• Triage and autonomously complete ADHD assessments
• Analyse and interpret assessment data, exercising sound clinical judgement
• Assess neurodiversity within complex presentations, including:
– Autism and challenging behaviours
– Trauma and attachment difficulties
– Low-level mental health needs (e.g. anxiety, low mood)
– Differentiating ADHD from typical child development
• Present assessment outcomes to the MDT where required
• Provide clear, sensitive feedback to children, young people, and families
• Produce high-quality written ADHD assessment reports within 14 days

Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year CAMHS experience in a community setting
• Significant experience completing ADHD assessments
• Ability to work independently with no requirement for training or supervision
• Professional background as one of the following:
– ADHD Nurse
– Social Worker with ADHD assessment experience
– Psychologist or suitably qualified ADHD Assessor
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car
