About the Role:

Supply Care Solutions is currently recruiting three experienced Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to join our NHS client’s CAMHS STW Crisis Team based at Hall Court, Telford.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dedicated 24/7 crisis service, supporting children and young people experiencing acute mental health crises across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, including support within the A&E Department at Princess Royal Hospital.

The initial contract is expected to last approximately 6 weeks, with the potential for extension subject to service review.

Shift Pattern:

• Full-time hours across a 4-week rota
• Long Days: 07:30 – 20:30
• Nights: 19:30 – 08:30

Experienced Band 5 RMNs with relevant CAMHS or crisis experience are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred mental health assessments and interventions for children and young people in crisis.
• Provide urgent community-based mental health support to service users and their families.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including A&E departments and community services.
• Undertake comprehensive risk assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
• Support crisis resolution and prevent unnecessary hospital admissions where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with NHS standards.
• Participate in the 24/7 rota, including long day and night shifts.

Requirements:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration.
• Previous community mental health and/or CAMHS crisis experience.
• Ability to work a 24/7 rota, including long days and nights.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable due to the community nature of the role.
• Excellent communication, assessment, and risk management skills.
