Type: Temporary, 3 months block booking

Shift Pattern: Day shifts 8:30-17:00 with a range of shifts Monday – Sunday including on calls from 17:00 – 8:30.

Work Address: The Balfour, Kirkwall, Orkney, KW15 1NZ 

Pay Rate: Up to £38.00 via umbrella

Requirements: Must holder a current U.K driving license and use of own car.

Compliance Needed: You will be required to have a PVG (Scottish DBS) to apply for this role.

Previous community nursing experience is essential. Nursing skills include injections, wound care, end of life care (including use of syringe drivers), leg ulcer assessments (including use of doppler machines), bladder/bowel assessments. Must holder a current U.K driving license and use of own car.

More Information:

As this role is on an island you will need to be based on Orkney for the duration of the block booking (unless given rostered days which allows time to leave Orkney of course). For this reason accommodation will be provided and up to £500 travel expenses.
