Qualifications: Professional qualification in Occupational Therapy and relevant experience in mental health. HCPC registered.

Role / Main duties of the job

To assess and deliver, evidence-based OT interventions, to facilitate wellbeing, and optimise independent functioning in self-care, productivity and leisure activities for service users admitted to acute wards and facilitate discharge palnning.

Working with LGH therapy team of Occupational Therapists, OTA and activity coordinators.

Working with ward MDT and service users on the inpatient wards: Amber, Coral, Jade and Opal.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities

Duties to be negotiated and agreed with team leaders all but include all parts of the OT process for service users currently admitted onto the inpatient wards, including:

Screening, Initial Assessments, Goal setting, Routine and Timetables, Functional Assessments, ADL assessments, Interventions 11 and groupwork.

Home assessments
