About the Role:

We’re recruiting on behalf of our client in Islington for a compassionate and experienced Assistant Support Worker to join the Daylight Autism Unit. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on experience supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities, who is passionate about making a positive impact on service users’ daily lives. You will be part of a supportive and dedicated team delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support adults with autism and learning disabilities in their day-to-day routines
• Promote independence, choice, and meaningful engagement in activities
• Assist with personal care where required
• Build trusting, professional relationships with service users and colleagues
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to individual care plans
• Work collaboratively within the team to maintain a safe and supportive environment

Requirements:

• Experience working with adults with autism and/or learning disabilities
• A caring, patient, and reliable approach to support work
• Ability to work full-time (35 hours per week)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship

• No restricted visa candidates can be considered
• No sponsorship offered for this role
