About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an Advanced Practitioner to join the South Locality Team (Adults MOU) at Walsall Council on a full-time, agency basis.

The South Locality Team supports vulnerable adults across Walsall, including those with:
• Physical or learning disabilities
• Mental health needs
• Age-related challenges

The team works to promote independence by arranging services such as personal care, shopping assistance, and daily living support. They also manage safeguarding responsibilities and collaborate closely with health and community partners to ensure the delivery of appropriate care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide operational oversight of team activities
• Supervise qualified and unqualified staff members
• Ensure quality assurance of assessments and care plans
• Oversee safeguarding enquiries and interventions
• Manage workloads, waiting lists, and case allocations

Requirements:
• Qualified Social Worker with relevant post-qualification experience
• Proven experience in a team leadership or management role within Adult Social Care
• Strong understanding of Care Act 2014 and safeguarding procedures
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
