💰 Rate: £42 – £45 per hour (Umbrella), dependent on experience

About the Role:
Supply Care Solutions is currently recruiting on behalf of Milton Keynes City Council for an experienced Adults Team Manager – Access & Review. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable manager to join a well-established Adults Social Care service and provide strong leadership across key frontline teams.

The successful candidate will oversee both the Access (Front Door) Team and the Older People’s Review Team, ensuring high-quality service delivery that meets statutory duties and local authority standards. This role requires an individual who can quickly embed themselves within the service and provide clear, visible leadership.

Working Arrangement:
• Fully office-based for the initial 2 weeks
• Thereafter, up to 2 days per week working from home (subject to service needs)

Key Responsibilities:
• Day-to-day operational management of the Access Team and Older People’s Review Team
• Providing visible leadership, direction, and professional support to staff
• Line management and supervision of the Deputy Team Manager and Access Team staff
• Monitoring and controlling service budgets
• Quality assurance and approval of assessments, care plans, and contact forms
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
• Providing guidance, support, and advice to unqualified staff
• Driving performance and maintaining high professional standards across the service

Requirements:
• Proven experience in a Team Manager or equivalent leadership role within Adults Social Care
• Strong knowledge of statutory duties and relevant adults social care legislation
• Ability to manage performance, budgets, and service delivery effectively
• Confident decision-maker with excellent leadership and supervisory skills
• Availability to work fully office-based for the first two weeks (essential)
