💰 Rate/Salary: £32–£36 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Adults Locality Social Worker to join the Merton Locality Team. This is a full-time locum opportunity within a well-established adults service, offering a hybrid working arrangement with 3 days per week office-based.

The role involves managing a varied and complex caseload, working closely with colleagues across the Front Door and Hospital Teams to ensure safe and effective transitions and outcomes for adults.

Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake the full range of Care Management duties in line with the Care Act and associated statutory guidance
• Manage casework allocated by Team Managers in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality paper and electronic case records on Mosaic
• Carry out professional duties under relevant legislation, alongside any additional tasks directed by senior management
• Identify areas of risk and complete proportionate risk assessments in line with Merton Care Management Procedures

Requirements:
• Qualified Social Worker with relevant post-qualifying experience in Adults Services
• Experience working within an Adults Locality setting
• Knowledge and experience of:
– Safeguarding
– Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)
– Court of Protection (CoP) work
• Experience using Mosaic
• Ability to work independently and manage a complex caseload
