About the Role:
We are currently seeking experienced Adult Social Workers to join Birmingham City Council as part of an exciting new recruitment drive.

This opportunity sits within a 6-month community-based project focused on Conversation 3 work, offering the chance to be part of a well-established and supportive safeguarding team making a real impact across the city. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to support vulnerable adults, promote independence, and deliver positive, outcome-focused interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a caseload within a community safeguarding team
• Work directly with citizens to assess needs and achieve positive outcomes
• Conduct reviews and contribute to case discussions
• Promote independence and wellbeing for vulnerable adults
• Support individuals in retaining and regaining confidence and life skills
• Undertake home visits where required
• Participate in team meetings and collaborative working practices

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience in Adult Social Care
• Recognised Social Work qualification (BA, CQSW, DipSW, CSS, or equivalent)
• Current registration with Social Work England
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and reporting practices
• UK-based Social Work experience
