About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Office-Based Administration & Data Worker to support Aquarius β Young Peopleβs Substance Misuse Service. The role is based at Woburn Court, within a partnership building alongside Cambridgeshire Community Services (CCS).
This is a vital, standalone administrative role supporting a busy, outreach-led service. You will work independently from the office while providing essential administrative and data support to a predominantly community-based team, ensuring the smooth and professional running of the service.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration & Data
β’ Accurate data entry and maintenance of client records using Aquarius database systems
β’ Booking appointments and managing electronic diary systems
β’ Designing, generating, and analysing data reports to support service performance
β’ Maintaining high standards of data quality and meeting reporting deadlines
β’ Word processing correspondence, reports, and meeting minutes
β’ Managing filing systems, post, stationery, petty cash, and general office administration
β’ Creating and maintaining confidential client files, referrals, and case closures
Reception & Communication
β’ Acting as the first point of contact for young people, carers, professionals, and visitors
β’ Handling telephone and email enquiries confidently, professionally, and discreetly
β’ Maintaining a welcoming and tidy reception area
β’ Liaising closely with CCS administrative staff and building strong working relationships
Service Support
β’ Supporting meetings, training sessions, campaigns, and service events
β’ Assisting with health and safety requirements and lone working systems where required
β’ Working in line with organisational policies, procedures, and quality standards
β’ Undertaking training, supervision, and professional development as required
Requirements:
β’ Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, particularly around data accuracy
β’ Confident working independently in an office-based environment
β’ Comfortable managing telephone and email enquiries
β’ Strong IT skills, including Outlook, Excel, and electronic database systems
β’ Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external partners
β’ A genuine interest in supporting young people and understanding the importance of strong administration to service delivery

Role Details:

β’ Working Days: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
β’ Hours:
β Wednesday & Thursday: 9:00am β 5:00pm
β Friday: 9:00am β 4:30pm
β’ Contract: Agency Temporary β initially 6 months, with potential extension
β’ Travel: Some travel may be required depending on service needs and meeting locations
